Global skin care manufacturer Gojo has announced its acquisition of France-based developer Laboratoires Prodene Klint, in a move both companies consider to confirm their shared core vision of global leadership.
Ohio-based Gojo develops and markets skin health and hygiene products for away-from-home settings, while Prodene Klint produces similar skincare products for non-domestic settings.
CEO of Prodene Klint, Eric Vignot, voiced his confidence that the move will confirm the company’s key values and encourage growth.
“Prodene Klint and Gojo will expand our geographic footprint, serve global customers and expand access to diverse ideas and resources. Joining with Gojo is a win-win for Prodene Klint, our employees and customers,” he said in a statement.
Mark Lerner, Gojo president and COO, affirmed this view: “both Prodene Klint and Gojo, as third-generation, family-owned companies and category leaders, will advance our shared Vision as the global leader in healthy skin and healthy places.”
