Dior has scooped up Chanel’s ex-director of make-up, Peter Philips, join the beauty brand’s leadership as creative and image director.
Philips, who stepped down from his role with Chanel last year, takes on the new role effective immediately. He replaces Pat McGrath.
Philips is renowned for his work with runway make-up for Chanel during his five years there.
Dior announced the appointment on Twitter.
“Dior is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter Philips as Creative and Image Director of #Dior #MakeUp,” the company tweeted.
